ABOUT
This storyboard was to prepare the later animatic that I did on the same exact thing, this was to show me trying to get over a message of sorts to the audience and re-think or re-adjust their values or opinions on a topic, I decided upon novelty toasters since me and one of my friend's where discussing about the sonic novelty toaster which was brought up because of a Sonic Merchandising video I watched the previous day. I thought whilst novel as a one off gimmick, in practice as an actual toaster it just completely falls apart as a product, yes I am self-aware that this is an extremely dumb & irrelevant argument to make compared to actual worldwide issues but I thought something light, fun and entertaining would be much better for my style as I don't gel well with genuine serious issues when it comes to my art. Derelict Castle Adventure | Animatic

This animatic consists of a little adventure for a small being known as "The Wanderer" (can you guess what they do), coming across a desolate and empty castle in the middle of a harsh stormy mountain range with an unknown goal in mind, what awaits this traveller inside the derelict corridors. This showcases one of my characters moving through different areas and backgrounds, making a tiny narrative as I went along. In a similar way to the Steamed Hams Animatic, this animatic was to gain an understanding of shot and composition. I decided to go in a more creative direction however, replacing the live actors with my own stylized characters. It's very, very rough but for animatic standards that is expected.

This is a animatic for my original pitch for a group project during my university degree, I really wanted to go for the creep factor here and make a spooky horror short, I loved delving into the more serious and terrifying angles of this one and the dynamic shots included despite looking quite rough. Max Bear Funny Animatic

This was my first animatic I made so it's pretty crappy drawing wise as I was still getting use to the brand new software and just doing animation in general but it has its charms. I still think this is one of the funniest things I made, it's essentially a Max Bear YTP with how stupid and chaotic it is, probably the funnest thing to make during my short-lived era of 2024.
